Materials & Craftsmanship
For Royal Oak Silver & White, the GENEVA DIAL workshop selects a substantial AISI 304L stainless steel case with brushed and polished surfaces. Brushing softens reflections across the broader surfaces, while polishing accentuates the edges and complements the white contrasts. A domed, tempered mineral crystal, resistant to everyday scratches, protects the light-coloured surfaces; abrasive materials must still be avoided. The crystal maintains an unobstructed view of the markers and this version’s composition, without adding a magnifier or a complication absent from its design.
