Materials & Craftsmanship
For GMT Master II Sprite, the GENEVA DIAL workshop selects a substantial AISI 304L stainless steel case with brushed and polished surfaces. The brushed finish softens reflections across the broader surfaces, while the polished finish accentuates the edges and complements the green and black. A convex, tempered mineral crystal, resistant to everyday scratches, protects the green section of the bezel; abrasive materials must still be avoided. The genuine glass Cyclops magnifier enlarges the date aperture 2.5×, highlighting this feature of the dial. Weighing 1.5 kg to 2.1 kg depending on the version, this 40 cm wall clock has a tangible solidity; the 5 mm steel bracket and reinforced anchoring kit must be installed on a suitable wall.

The photoluminescent hour markers and hands charge under light, particularly UV light, then emit a gradually fading glow; they do not provide permanent illumination.
